i’ve been using this to filter nsfw tags and now I realized that I can use it to hide spoiler and clockwork princess tags hohohoho

Umm ang sad kanina. There was a video where they showed pictures of the different varsity teams of UP Diliman, along with the recent titles they earned. There were two teams with only their picture and their team’s name shown in the vid. One was the softball or baseball team? Pardon moi. And the other one is..

The UP Men’s Basketball Team.

The first and the last title was earned by the team way back in 1986 after 47 years of no titles won and also when Benjie Paras was before then a rookie.

Being reminded that your school excels in almost everything except for basketball hurts. But then, losing every men’s basketball game became an inside joke within the University. Even professors and the faculty joke about it, along with the students. I also have some suspicions that the basketball team themselves joke about losing again.

Also, whenever UP wins a game, regardless of which team they face, people react to it like it was a miracle, some kind of event that can be compared to alien sightings. On a side note, celebrations are bigger, because these kind of events are considered very rare. Even newspapers sometimes offer their front page to the Fighting Maroons to celebrate this rare occasion.

However, even with all the jokes shared between isko’s and iska’s, I know that each of us still continues to secretly hope for another title. I myself hope for another win.
